A Forgotten Song
So many songs fill the world,Their choruses into us hurled,Our ears jammed with tones unceasing,The weight of the world’s music increasing.
Desperate voices urge us to sing along,Join, join that the song be strong.Waves of welling words compel our feeling,Yet something inside, trumpets against kneeling.
Tides of tongues ever flowing,Keep all but a few from knowing.Drowning sounds swirl round our lives,For the souls of so many, these songs are knives.
Some songs fill with a sweetness,But peace at any price lacks completeness. Some songs ease us to sleep,But the dark of their comfort is deep.
Yet we fear to stop singing,To sever our voices, hands wringing.Without chords connecting, we are lost.We must wonder, what do these songs cost?
But in our silence, we hear an inner voiceIts faint beauty reminds us of a forgotten choice.Echoes of eternity kiss our ears,Rousing us to joyous tears.
We had forgotten we are songs,Flowing from beyond in soul note throngs. Our fiery intensity awakening all the sleepy world. To listen at last to the inner herald.

Flow
Warm summer raindripping gently down, with tender caresses, slowly melts the icy blocks of fear, that imprison us,now the frozen feelings find a way to flow, the living waters seek to nourish growing, penetrating the earthfinding new roots to join, while sprouting towards wholeness, now blossoms burstwith blessings we accept.
A TREE
New life bursts forth from your stable stream of wood. So connected to the life flowing through you! Your roots reach down to embrace your Mother. Your limbs lift up to honor your Father and show your colors to the world. Your many green fingers sway delicately in the wind forming a canopy of light filled shelter. Your skin both rough and smooth is home to other life that celebrates your touch. Your image blesses us with beauty.
By the Sea
Star light shines on the green needles like the ever present hope held by life filled trees
nourished by the salty marsh waters. In the peace of the nightthe wind whispers with a gentle touch to my ears. But here is more to hear in the forest at the edge of the sealies an invisible port.Majesty pouring forth in waves rolls over my inner earsand I am swept away by a beauty beyond my body.An invitation to a cosmic dance has been acceptedand my planet friends are arrayed in colorful energy.Saturn so dark solemn and formal bows deeply on one knee,Neptune in a glittery gossamar gown floats in mysterious silencewith a look of infinite longing.Jupiter a mighty regal purple presenceoffers me a drink of joy and invites me to join a sufi dance circle..Venus in a rainbow colored dress warmly embraces me with love and affection.
I remember my home in the wholeness!
Blessings.
