There is a story that needs telling. It is a horrendous story. It is about not so good things that have been happening for millennia. It is a story that had hardened New York City detectives needing therapy when they viewed pictures of events in this story. It is hard to unsee what has been seen.
A few people have found a way to present the story in a video that does not scar the people who see it.
It is a sad story. People cry. But it is told in a very gentle manner that allows people to watch it. Facts are presented without graphic images and explicit descriptions while still conveying the emotional impact on the children. It is a very gentle movie about an awful aspect of current life which must be acknowledged.
The movie is called “The Sound of Freedom.” This video was released on July 4th of 2023 and is now number one in earnings. Many who already know the story did not wish to watch the movie because of what we have previously seen. This writer was pleasantly surprised at the gentleness and care taken in not needlessly wounding viewers. It is in fact an uplifting movie as a result of the masterful blending of the good and not so good.
It is necessary that we know globally that this is happening now so we can decide to stop it. We must put a stop to the mistreatment of children and others. This is the reason the “Wall” was built on the U.S. southern border. It is why Mexico contributed people to support a secure border.
The integrity and free expression of all humans must be respected. We can each decide this in our own mind and heart. When enough people have decided this, a critical mass, it will be so.
Save the Children. Stand and unite with all good souls. Unite heart and mind with all good souls now to rebuild our world as a place safe for all children.
