Magic fascinates us. We love to see magicians perform. What if we as a people have been mis-educated about magic? What if we are not fully aware of its benefits and properties, how it works? Magic is not a trick. It is not slight of hand. It is proper use of words and intent.
Words are power. To say "I want" means "I don't have" or there is a "lack", as in the bible verse "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want." This statement indicates I have all I need. Care should be taken when using words to ensure we do not say the opposite of what we wish. Use words such as affordable, quiet, pleasant, clean, agreeable, I am ...
To say "I wish" is to align self with all who desire the same. "I wish" says this is my intention, this is what I desire, this is what I choose. There is an energy with words, some more than others. The energy of "I wish" is very high. Wish is the opposite of want. This is the background of the stories about "3 wishes". We are told the number of available wishes is limited. This is false. The seriousness of wishing, however, is true.
When we wish something while in a meditative state, we program self to bring it about. We will find we automatically do what is necessary to make it happen if we are in the proper mindset. If we later change our mind, we must return to the same energy level, the same state of mind to reverse the decision.
The magic is in "setting" the intention while in an altered state and then focusing on the desired outcome. Negative thinking will counter what is desired. Reformat negative thoughts into expressions of what is desired. The desired outcome is to be stated as occurring now, in the present. Say I am seeing, I am enjoying, I am being, ...
It may be good to write what is desired in a journal and read it daily, aloud if possible, until it comes to be. It is appropriate to thank the universe for providing what we wish to see prior to physically seeing it.
We humans as spirits with bodies have the ability to shift our center of consciousness. Indigenous Americans use this talent to experience what it feels like to be a bird in flight, a wolf or bear, a tree, a flower, etc. When this writer dances in the circle in the traditional way, she is often joined by her "late" husband. Those who understand native dance understand this.
Experiencing what it feels like to be in the physical expression of another is also a session offered in the Be Your Own Psychic: the Edgar Cauce Legacy Conference.
We may use the ability to shift when making wishes, manifesting what we truly desire. The ability to shift energetically enables us to move between dimensions, expressing the abilities available to us in each dimension, more fully experiencing our abilities to know and to choose. We expand our consciousness and our capabilities by experimenting and using these.
It is our mind, our consciousness, which connects all the parts of self as one, and all of us together. It is our mind that sees what can be, when we so choose. Wishing is one way of experiencing the power of the mind.
Our choice.
